Packing List
Day Pack (carried by you while walking)
You won’t be able to access your luggage during the day, so make sure to carry these essentials:
- Water bottle (available for purchase at check-in)
- Pilgrim’s Primer (available for purchase at check-in)
- Raincoat or waterproof jacket
- Broad-brimmed hat for sun protection
- Sunscreen
- Rosary and items for Mass
- Personal first aid supplies
(e.g. blister packs, chafing cream, Panadol, lip balm, hand sanitiser) - Mass-appropriate clothing
(You won’t have time to change before Mass, so dress accordingly each day)
Overnight Bag (transported by luggage trucks, inaccessible during the day)
- Worn-in walking shoes (not new!)
- 3 x days of walking clothes
- Warm overnight clothes / sleepwear
- Warm layers (temperatures may drop significantly at night)
- Toiletries
(Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, small towel, sanitary items, etc.) - Towel
- Sleeping mat and pillow
- Sleeping bag
For Campers (in addition to above items)
- Tent
- Waterproof tarp or mat (for under your tent)
Optional (but recommended) Extras
- Sunglasses
- Spare socks & undergarments
- Headlamp or small torch (for use at night)
- Spare plastic bags or dry bags (for wet or dirty gear)
- Power bank (to charge phone)
- Small snacks (muesli bars, trail mix)
- Lightweight cushion or stool for rest stops
Notes:
- You will not be able to access your luggage during the day. Pack wisely!
- Avoid bulky bedding. Overnight spaces are limited, especially in halls.
- Dress modestly and appropriately for outdoor walking and daily Mass.
- Space is tight—pack light and keep things compact.
