The Christus Rex Pilgrimage is a labour of love – organised entirely by volunteers, without staff, offices, or major sponsors. Each year, hundreds of pilgrims walk from Ballarat to Bendigo to honour the Kingship of Christ. Behind the scenes, a small group of volunteers work year-round to make this possible.

Registration fees are kept as low as possible to ensure the Pilgrimage remains accessible to all. However, these fees do not cover all the costs. We rely on the generosity of benefactors and pilgrims to make up the shortfall – for essential items such as first aid, buses, hire costs, equipment and insurance.
