Safety Volunteers

With over 90km of road and trail to cover, safety is a vital part of the Pilgrimage.
Our safety team includes walking marshals and safety car drivers who ensure pilgrims stay on course, stay visible, and stay safe.
If you’re confident behind the wheel or happy walking with a high-vis vest and flag in hand, we need you.
You’ll play a key role in protecting pilgrims and ensuring the walk runs smoothly and safely for all.

📍 Volunteers must be alert, responsible, and able to follow instructions from the event operations team.
